Pricing, Bookings and Payment

                                                                                                                                COUNSELLING / Equine Assisted Therapy (EAT)

Regular Counselling (in rooms or in nature without horses) and Equine Assisted Therapy services are open to all. Clients can call Natasha on 0413 369 507 or email natasha@seenandherd.com.au to book directly. We offer a free 15-minute discovery call to see if it might be for you.

NDIS clients. We support self or plan-managed clients. In many cases your support coordinator may provide a referral. We will call you to discuss details and answer any queries in advance of our first intake session.

Equine Assisted Learning (EAL)

Equine-assisted learning sessions and camps may be covered by your NDIS plan.  Relevant line items include:

Core Support, Assistance with Social Economic and Community Participation – Community Social and Recreational Activities.

Capacity Building, Increased Social and Community Participation – Innovative Community Participation

Capacity Building, Increased Social and Community Participation – Community Participation Activities

Women’s days, and school programs, are private and are not covered by NDIS.

Equine Assisted Therapy Pricing

Individual Sessions

  • We service clients of all ages

  • A person-centred therapy plan will be developed in conjunction with you before your first session.

  • As with all forms of therapy, a single session is not enough to facilitate real change, and time and care will be taken to build relationship, safety and trust between your therapist, you and the horses.

  • We recommend that you book a series of six weekly sessions initially, to get the most progress towards your personal treatment goals. You may of course withdraw from the series of sessions whenever you wish.

  • Please note we do NOT provide group therapy sessions, however in order to support all of our clients’ individual needs you are more than welcome to bring a support person or persons with you to your appointment if you wish and you feel that meets your personal needs.

  • Note – all accompanying support people must also complete a confidentiality form before attending, to protect your privacy.

Equine Assisted Learning Pricing

Childrens’ / Adults’ Group Workshops

  • Childrens’ / Adults’ group workshops run for 2.5 hours.
  • Adult groups require a minimum of 3 participants but can have up to 8.
  • Children’s groups require a minimum of 3 participants and can have up to 6. Children are grouped by age to maximise interaction and confidence. The age groups are 6-10, 11-14, and 14-17. We know that all kids are different and if you feel your child would fit better in a different group please just let us know and we can chat.
  • All accompanying support people must also complete a confidentiality form before attending, to protect your privacy.

Individual Sessions

$185/session (inc. GST)

  • We will have a 15-minute phone/zoom session to discuss what you would like to achieve in the sessions.

  • You will be sent the prerequisite paperwork to complete before arrival and have the chance to ask any questions.

  • An individual session plan will be developed and tailored to your needs.

  • Anything can change once the horses add their wisdom, so sessions are also a lesson in flexibility!

  • All accompanying support people must also complete a confidentiality form before attending, to protect your privacy.

Adults’ Day Retreats Pricing

Group Sessions

  • This day retreat will invite you to remember that we need to listen to what our body is telling us, listen to what our needs are and act upon them in order to give the best of ourselves to those around us.

  • A gentle and slow-paced day to immerse yourself in the energy of horses, take time to reflect and connect with these gentle and magnificent animals, who can read more into our true inner state than we can.

  • You will leave with grounding and meditation techniques that you can carry into your everyday life and a deeper appreciation of your authentic self.

  • Groups require at least 4 participants to run and can accommodate up to 8.

  • The price includes a light lunch and refreshments.
